Add Component Groups into Spec Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to add component groups to the selected specification.

1. In the Specification Explorer, right-click on the component type to which you want to add component groups.

2. From the right-click menu, select Add groups - Select for add.

Ø Note: This option is only available if you open a lowest level sub-type.

In this field...	Enter/Do this...
From spec drop-down list	To view a list of all component groups available in the component library, leave this blank. To view a list of component groups available in a particular specification, select that specification from the drop-down list.
Component type	Nothing - this is a view-only field.
Select components groups to be added list	Select the component groups you want to add to the specification. If the From spec field is blank, this list contains all groups available in the component library. If the From spec field contains a specification name, the list contains only those groups included in that specification. You can use the Shift and Ctrl keys to select multiple groups.
OK	Click to save changes to the database and close the dialog box.
Cancel	Click to close the dialog box without saving changes.
