Restoring Projects

The Restore Project command allows archived project files to be returned to the database.  

The imported project file will contain information on all sub-projects, line numbers, specs selected, drawings and user roles and permissions.  

To import a project from an external file...

1. From the Tools menu, select Restore Project.

2. The Open Archived Project File dialog appears.  Select the archived project you wish to restore the navigation dialog.

3. Click the Open button to continue.

If the project or any subproject has an identical name to any existing projects, a dialog will appear asking for a new name for the project being imported.
