
Use the following procedures to set and delete design breaks.
Use design breaks to control which designs ISOGEN uses to generate isometric drawings.
Use design breaks when you insert external references in a design.
1. Insert an external reference to a previous design into the current design.
2. Construct the current design using the same line number as the referenced design.
3. From the ISOGEN tab, select Set Design Break.
Select a connection point to be removed from Isometric generation appears in the command line.
4. In the design, click the referenced connection cone that joins the designs.
Ø Tip: To view/find a break symbol within a line, use AutoCAD's View>Shade>3D Wireframe option.
1. Find the break symbol using AutoCAD's View>Shade>3D Wireframe option.
2. From the ISOGEN tab, select Delete Break Points.
3. In the design, click the design break symbol.
4. Press Enter. The break symbol disappears.
