Using Line Breaks

Use the following procedures to set and delete line breaks.

Use line breaks with ISOGEN tools to generate isometric drawings for a selected portion of a line in one design or across multiple designs.

To set a line break...

1.    From the ISOGEN tab, select Set Line Break.

       Select a connection point to be removed from Isometric generation appears in the command line.

2.    In the design, click the connection point where you want to insert the line break.

       The break symbol appears in the drawing.

Ø   Tip: To view/find a break symbol within a line, use AutoCAD's View>Shade>3D Wireframe option.

To delete a line break...

1.    Find the break symbol using AutoCAD's View>Shade>3D Wireframe option.

2.    From the ISOGEN tab, select Delete Break Point.

3.    In the design, click the line break symbol.

4.    Press Enter. The break symbol disappears.
