Opening a Design

Drawings created using 3DSMART are controlled using the Project Manager interface.

To open an existing design...

In the Project Manager Control Bar:

1.    Use the directory tree to locate the design you want to open.

2.    Click the design name to highlight it.

3.    Click  to open the design in 3DSMART.

To open a new design...

1.    In the Project Manager Control Bar, navigate to the project/sub-project where the new design belongs.

2.    Click the New Design button to open a blank design in 3DSMART.

       Step 1 of 2 of the Create Design Wizard appears.

3.      Enter a name for the design and click Next.

Step 2 of 2 of the Create Design Wizard appears.

4.      Select the specs that are available from the list.

5.      Click Finish.

The design is automatically saved in project/sub-project you selected in step 1.
