Moving Cutouts

You can move cutouts, details, and copes to another location on the parent piece of steel. You cannot move a cope, cutout or detail to another piece of steel.

You can only move one cope, detail, or cutout at a time.

To move a cutout...

1.   In the Structural Steel component toolbar, click the Cutouts tab.

2.   From the options, select Move.

Select steel to be modified appears in the command line.

3.   Click the cutout you want to move.

Select Base Point appears in the command line.

4.   Click a reference point on the steel you selected.

Select Second Point for Displacement appears in the command line.

5.   Click another point on the same piece of steel

The cope, detail, or cutout appears in the new location.
