Moving Components to a New Line Number

You can rename components from one line number to another using the Change Line Number command.

You can also use the Pickup Component Attributes command to change the line number for a single item.

To change the line number…

1.   On the Changes tab, click the Change Line Number button.

 OR

      Click the component whose line number you wish to change.  Bring up the context menu by right clicking, and select Change Line Number.

2.   The Line Number dialog box appears.

3.   From the list, select the line where you want to move the components.

4.   In the model, select the component(s) you want to move.

5.   Press Enter to move the selected components to the line number selected in Step 2.
