Annotating Orthographic Drawings

You can add plain text annotations to an Orthographic drawing using standard AutoCAD commands.

To annotate an Orthographic drawing...

1.    Open the generated Orthographic drawing for editing.

2.    Create a new layer(s) for annotations if desired.

3.    Add required annotations to the annotation layers.

       Note: Do not put annotations on layers containing Orthographic output.

4.    Save the drawing with a new name before closing.

Ø Note: Changes to Orthographic drawings are not automatically saved. .

Ø Important: The Orthographic drawings are generated to the same file name every time.  If you do not use the Save As command when you annotate a drawing, you will lose your changes.
