Import
modo lets you open OBJ files directly. Simply choose File > Open and in the Files of type field click the dropdown arrow and choose OBJ.
Export
modo will let you save your work in the OBJ format by using the Save As command.
To save your file as OBJ, do the following:
1) On the File menu choose Save As.
2) Use the Format menu on the File requestor to choose Obj.
3) Navigate to the correct directory or folder.
4) Give your file an appropriate name and click OK.
Note that when exporting to OBJ, only the first UV map gets exported for each layer.
