modo can load and save several common image formats. Including TGA, JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, TIFF, XPM and EXR. modo can save 24 or 32 bit images in standard range images or high dynamic range data into the image formats that support it. We recommend PNG for 24 or 32 bit image saving and EXR for HDR (High Dynamic Range) work. modo can also load and save PSD files with layer data.
(Note: If you plan to save with an HDR format such as EXR, make certain to disable the "Clamp Colors" option on the Render Items' Frame tab.)
