modo will open 2D files from Adobe Illustrator. The EPS loader converts all of curve datas of EPS to bezier curves in modo. These files will come in as curves, ready for extrusion. Use the Freeze command Make Holes option to obtain holes from nested closed curves. There is no option to save 2D curves back out into these formats.
The following versions of EPS and AI format are supported:
Illustrator EPS AI
3.0/3.2
4.0
5.0/5.5
6.0
7.0
8.0
modo does not support AI 9 or 10 format.
