Solid >> Tool >> Convert to Shell

• Solid >> Tool >> Convert to Shell command register scanned shell to DATUM (Surface or Polygon) with constrained option.

Step

Execute Solid >> Tool >> Convert to Shell command as follows:

1. Select Solid >> Tool >> Convert to Shell command from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Solid toolbar.

2. Pick a solid to be converted polygonal shell. In following dialogue, adjust tessellation option and click Preview button to check converting result

       

3. With Ok button, you can get polygon shell from solid or click Cancel to dismiss the commend

Note

• Unlike Surface >> Tool >> Convert to Shell command, this commend do not support uniform tessellation option.
