Step

Execute Tool >> Offset >> Region By Curves command as follows.
1. Select Tool >> Offset >> Region By Curves from the menu.
2. Pick curves that form a close loop in counterclockwise direction.
3. Select Done on the RMB menu, the region enclosed by the picked curves will be selected. The following dialog box appears:

Offset Distance is the offset amount. If positive value is input, forward offset will be applied. If negative value is input, backward offset will be applied.
Rounding Range means the curved region range. If it is smaller than Offset Distance, the offset result may not be good.
If Subdivide Rounding Region is checked, you can specify the Number of Iterations. The rounding region will be subdivided that many times. Sometimes if you want to get a smooth transition, you may need to increase this value.

If Selected Area is checked, the selected region will be offset. If Unselected Area is checked, the unselected region will be offset.

4. Do one of these: click Preview to preview the result, click OK to execute this command, or click Cancel to quit this operation.
