Surface >> Create >> Sweep

• Surface >> Create >> Sweep command creates a blended surface using a rail curve and a section curve.

Step   

Execute Surface >> Create >> Sweep  command as follows:

1. Select Surface >> Create >> Sweep  from the menu or click the icon from the surface toolbar.

2. Pick a rail curve and a section curve respectively.

3. A following dialog appears.

Create Closed Surface makes closed surface with G1 continuity.

Do Not Approximate uses all the knots without sampling.

Resample Curves samples control points of the curves to given number.

Refit Curves samples control points of the curves by using the given tolerance that represents projection error distance of each correspondent control points.

Approximate Surface rebuilds surface by given tolerance.  　

5. Press OK to complete the operation.

• A new surface appears and it is added to Surface node in the project tree window and the current layer in the layer window.

• The shape of the generated surface can be effectively check with the rendering functionality ( See Surface >> Property >> Render )
