Solid >> Create >> From Surface Set >> Interactive

• Solid >> Create >> From Surface Set >> Interactive command creates a solid model by trimming and merging selected surfaces .

 Step

Execute Solid >> Create  >> From Surface Set >> Interactive command as follows:

1. Select Solid >> Create >> From Surface Set >> Interactive from the menu or click the corresponding icon on the Feature toolbar.

2. Left-click and drag the mouse to select surfaces.

3. Click Done on the right mouse button shortcut menu.

4. The following message box pops up

5. Enter a proper Merging Tolerance, then Click Preview. Preview operation will show removed surfaces by red color, remained surfaces by green color. On RMB menu, user can select faces to be remain or removed interactively

    

6. after select faces, just click OK to make as solid. During operation, user can delete or remain base surfaces by Delete Base Surfaces/Solids option

 

Result  

• A solid model is created by merging the selected surfaces.

• The selected surfaces no longer exist and disappear from the Surfaces node in Project Tree Window.

• The created solid model is registered in the Solids node in Project Tree Window.
