Solid >> Create >> From Solid/Surface Set >> Trim & Merge

• Solid >> Create >> From Solid/Surface Set >> Trim & Merge command creates a solid model by trimming and merging selected surfaces .

 Step

Execute Solid >> Create  >> From Solid/Surface Set >> Trim & Merge command as follows:

1. Select Solid >> Create >> From Solid/Surface Set >> Trim & Merge from the menu or click the corresponding icon on the Feature toolbar.

2. Select Solids first and click Done on RMB menu, then select surfaces and click OK on RMB menu

3. The following dialog box pops up

4. Enter a proper value for Merging Tolerance. after check result with Preview and click OK to make a solid. if user use Delete Base Surfaces/Solids option, RapidForm will delete selected surfaces during the operation.

 

Result  

• A solid model is created by trimming and merging the selected surfaces.

• The created solid model is registered to the Solids node in Project Tree Window.
