• Ref. Geometry >> Create >> Vector >> Input Two Points command adds a reference vector whose two end points' coordinates are inputted by a user.

Step   

Execute Ref. Geometry >> Create >> Vector >> Input Two Points command as follows:

1. Select Ref. Geometry >> Create >> Vector >> Input Two Points from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Reference toolbar.

2. The following dialog box appears.

Input coordinates of start and end point. Every time when Add button is pressed, a new reference vector is added at the given position. If a user selects Use Local Coordinate option, the following message appears.

If a user selects a coordinate after pressing OK button, start and end points are generated on the basis of the selected coordinate. If he/she clicks the Preview or Add button without selecting any coordinate, the following message appears.

3. Press Close button to close the dialog box and quit this command.

 

• Until Close button is clicked, a user can add reference vectors continuously by pressing Add button and change the view with virtual trackball.
• If a user pushes the Preview or Add button with same coordinate for start and end point, the following pop-up menu appears.
