Ref. Geometry  >> Create >> Sphere >> Pick Center & Input Radius

• Ref. Geometry >> Create >> Sphere >> Pick Center & Input Radius command adds a reference sphere by selecting( picking ) a center point and inputting a radius.

Step   

Execute Ref. Geometry >> Create >> Sphere >> Pick Center & Input Radius command as follows:

1. Select Ref. Geometry >> Create >> Sphere >> Pick Center & Input Radius from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Reference toolbar.

2. Pick a point on a shell as the center point.  

During picking points,  User can select point entity on RMB menu as below fig.

 

Point : Any point on polygon face

Vertex : Scanned point

Ref.Point : User made Ref.Point 

Point On Surface : any point on NURBS surface

Point On Curve : any point on NURBS Curve

3. The following dialog box appears.

Input the radius of the sphere to be added.

4. Press OK button to complete this command.

Note  

• Point on Surface option cannot be applied to surface without mesh.and can be applied TRUE COLOR display mode. Because picking point algorithm uses rendering information.
