• Ref. Geometry >> Create >> Point >> Input Point command creates a reference point whose coordinate is inputted.

Step   

Execute Ref. Geometry >> Create >> Point >> Input Point command as follows:

1. Select Ref. Geometry >> Create >> Point >> Input Point from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Reference toolbar.

2. The following dialog box appears.

Type in the coordinate of the point and press Add button. Every time when Add button is pressed, a new reference point is added at the given position. If a user checks Use Local Coordinate, the following message appears.

If a user selects a coordinate after pressing OK button, new points are generated on the basis of the selected coordinate. If he/she clicks the Add button without selecting any coordinate, the following message appears.

3. Press Close button to close the dialog box and quit this command.

• Until Close button is clicked, a user can add reference points continuously by pressing Add button.
