• Ref. Geometry >> Create >> Plane >> Offset Plane command adds a reference plane offset from a selected reference plane by a given value.

Step   

Execute Ref. Geometry >> Create >> Plane >> Offset Plane command as follows:

1. Select Ref. Geometry >> Create >> Plane >> Offset Plane from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Reference toolbar.

2. Select a reference plane from which the to-be-generated reference plane is offset.

3. The following dialog box appears.

Input a positive or negative value as the distance to be offset into the Input Offset Value field. The plane will be offset along the positive or negative normal direction respectively. Or you can dynamically drag the reference plane to the desired position.

4. Press OK button to complete this command.
