Ref. Geometry  >> Create >> Circle > Fit Hole

• Ref.Geometry >> Create >> Circle > Fit Hole command creates a Ref.Circle by projecting selected region into Ref.Plane or fitted plane.  

 Step   

Execute Ref.Geometry >> Create >> Circle > Fit Hole: as follow

1. Select the faces(Vertex) to be fit to circle. ( See Select >> Entities >> Face(Vertex)  )

2. Select Ref.Geometry >> Create >> Circle > Fit Hole from the menu or click the icon from the reference toolbar.

RapidForm finds boundary in selected region first and fits boundary into Ref,Circle and fits selected region into plane second.  Finally, Rapidform projects fitted circle to fitted plane.

3. On RMB menu,  By selecting Pick Ref.Plane, User can use user made Ref.Plane for projection plane instead fitted plane.

4. After selection, select Done on RMB menu to finish execution.

Note  

• When user fits hole on inclined region, It may be good to use Pick Ref.Plane option for accuracy circle fitting.
