• Ref. Geometry >> Create >> Circle>> Pick Points command creates a reference circle from three or more selected picked ) points on shells or reference points.

Step   

Execute Ref. Geometry >> Create >> Circle>> Pick Points command as follows:

1. Select Ref. Geometry >> Create >> Circle>> Pick Points from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Reference toolbar.

2. Select( Pick ) three or more points on shells.( See Selecting point )

During picking points,  User can select point entity on RMB menu as below fig.

 

Point : Any point on polygon face

Vertex : Scanned point

Ref.Point : User made Ref.Point 

Point On Surface : any point on NURBS surface

Point On Curve : any point on NURBS Curve

3. Select Done from the pop-up menu to add a reference circle. If more than three points are selected, the most appropriate circle is automatically calculated.

• Point on Surface option cannot be applied to surfaces without mesh or if rendering never been executed once. Because picking point algorithm uses rendering information. So Point on Surface option can be applied to TRUE COLOR display mode with rendering information only.
