• Tool >> Work Volume >> Align  >> 3 Points command positions a shell by aligning a plane defined by three points with the bottom face of work volume.

Step   

Execute Tool >> Work Volume >> Align >> 3 Points command as follows:

1. Select Tool >> Work Volume >> Align >> 3 Points from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the RP toolbar.

2. Select a shell to align. ( See Shell selection )

3. Select three points to defines a plane which serves as the bottom face of the build-up process.

 

Result

• The selected shell is translated and rotated so that it is properly positioned in the work volume as a user wishes.
