Tool >> Split Edges >> By Custom Path command split selected edges.
A user can split edges topologically by selecting the two end vertices of one edge.
The splitted edges can be easily checked by pushing hotkey "E" or Information >> Show Boundaries.
Step
- Execute Tool >> Split Edges >> By Custom Path command as follows:
- 1. Select Tool >> Split Edge >> By Custom Path from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the polygon Tool1 toolbar.
- 2. Select two vertices to split the edge incident to them.
- 3. If a user clicks the right mouse button while executing this command, the following pop-up menu appears.

- Select Pause to temporarily stop the current command and change to input ready state. Then, a user can use virtual trackball. A check mark appears in the front of Pause command in this state. Select Pause once more to resume the stopped command.
- 4. Select Done from the pop-up menu.
Note
If you want to select multiple edges then, select multiple vertices and select Done at pop-up menu.
