Measure >> Curvature Plot command shows the curvature distribution of a shell in five different methods. ( Mean, Gaussian, Maximum, Minimum and Average)
A curvature plot is represented by a color map. Smoother curvature plot means that the shell is smoother. Thus, it can be used to evaluate the quality of scanned data.
Step
- Execute Measure >> Curvature Plot command as follows:

The type of curvature plot can be set with Curvature Type option to one of the five: Mean, Gaussian, Maximum, Minimum and Average.
A user can choose None or Median or Mean Filter Type
The plot range is displayed and controlled with the slide bar in Plot Range option.
Press Max Range to set the both extreme value of curvature range to maximum value.
Press Reset to set the the both extreme value of curvature range to optimal value for the effective evaluation.
