Step   

Execute Measure >> Contour Lines >> Shell command as follows:

1. Select Measure >> Contour Lines >> Shell from the menu or click the icon from the Measure toolbar.

2. Select a target shell.

3. The following dialog box appears.

There are two methods to display contour lines. Number of Contour specifies the number of contour lines to be displayed. Width of Contour specifies the space between two contour lines.

Axis option is for selecting the axis, along which contour lines are generated. A user can set Axis to one of X, Y, and Z.

The system automatically generates contour lines about the selected axis with equidistance between the contour lines.

If click the right mouse button, a popup menu appears.

Click Pick Custom Axis to select a reference vector. After you select a vector, the Custom option of Axis is enabled. Then if it is selected, the contour lines perpendicular to the selected vector are displayed. If you select a plane after click Pick Ref. Plane, the contour lines parallel to the selected plane are displayed.
Click Attach Current Color Map to Vertex Color menu to assign the map color to the vertices of shell.

A user can set the bound of contour lines using Min. Position/ Max. Position scroll bars.

Check View Section Only option displays only the contour lines.
Check Align to screen option to change the viewpoint so that the model is viewed along the selected axis.
Check Use Local Coordinate option to use the axis of the local coordinate as the direction for contour lines.
4. Press Display button to apply the changed options.
5. Push Close button to finish this operation.
