Inspection >> Geometric Tolerance >> Circularity
Step
Execute Inspection >> Geometric Tolerance >> Circularity command as follows:
- 1. Select Inspection >> Geometric Tolerance >> Circularity from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Inspection toolbar.
2. Click the right mouse button, if there is no visible Section Deviation, this shortcut menu appears:
If there is visible Section Deviation With Surfaces (or With Polygon), this shortcut menu appears:

If there is visible Section Deviation With Curves, this shortcut menu appears:

Click On Vertices to select a geometry composed of vertices, or On Curves to select curves, or On Faces to select a geometry composed of polygonal faces, or On Section to select a geometry on the sections of both the scan shell and the design model, or On Scan Section to select a geometry only on the section of the scan shell, or On Design Section to select a geometry only on the section of the design model, or From Curves to select curves, then calculate circularity for the vertices around them; or Pick Ref. Vector to select a reference vector and use it as the normal of the bounding circles.
3. After select proper geometry, click Done on the right mouse button shortcut menu.
- 4. Select a place to position the Circularity text box.
Result
In addition to displaying the circularity value, this function plots the two bounding circles and the radius difference between them.
