• Information >> Surface command shows geometrical information of a surface.

Step   

Execute Information >> Surface command as follows:

1. Select Information >> Surface from the menu.

2. Pick the isocurves of a surface. (Refer to Select  >> Entities  >> Curve / Surface)

3. The information about the selected surface appears on the lower left area of the workspace window.

No. of U Control Points is the number of control points of the selected surface in U-direction.

No. of V Control Points is the number of control points of the selected surface in V-direction.

U Param. Domain is the range of parameter in U-direction.

V Param. Domain is the range of parameter in V-direction.

Width of B.Box, Height of B.Box, Depth of B.Box are respectively the width( X axis direction ), the height( Y axis direction ), the depth( Z axis direction ) of the bounding box enclosing the selected surface.

No. of Connected Loop indicates No of connected loop.

Surface Type indicates whether selected surface is trimmed or untrimmed.

Surface Geometry Type indicates surface generation method such as Freedom, Mirror, Revolution, Loft, Sweep and  ETC. Freedom means polygon fitting.
