• Feature >> Interactive Composite >> Pick Surface Edges command connects edge of two adjacent surfaces with trimming or extending selected edges

Step

Execute Feature >> Interactive Composite >> Pick Surface Edges command as follows:

1. Select Feature >> Interactive Composite >> Pick Surface Edges from the menu.

2. Pick pairs of edges of surface to be connected in order. Correspondent edge of pair will be recognized as separated color

If you delete last made pair, Select Delete previous pair on RMB menu. After picking, select Done on RMB menu.

 

Result                  

• selected edges will be trimmed or extended to make connect selected surfaces

Note

• If direction of selected surface's are non-definitive (especially on freeform surface), Undesirable result may made.( see below figure)

• Trimmed surface is not supported in this commend , so if you select trimmed surface, error message will follow like below figure
         

• If rapidform fails to find solution for connecting, you will see following error message.
