Feature >> Create >> Chamfer

• Feature >> Create >> Chamfer command creates a beveled surface between two faces common to a selected edge.

Step

Execute Feature >> Create  >> Chamfer command as follows:

1. Select Feature >> Create >> Chamfer from the menu or click the corresponding icon on the Feature toolbar.

2. Pick a solid and candidate edges you want to chamfer.

4. Click Done on the right mouse button shortcut menu, the following dialog box pops up

5. Input a proper Distance value, then click OK.

Result  

• The picked edges are chamfered.

Note

• If Chamfer distance is too much bigger than adjacent edge's face, sometimes operation may fail to fillet. so, it is good to measure edge or adjacent face's size before chamfer.
