Curve >> Trim >> Pick Point

• Curve >> Trim >> Pick Point command trims a curve at an arbitrary point.

Step   

Execute Curve >> Trim >> Pick Point command as follows:

1. Select Curve >> Trim >> Pick Point from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Curve toolbar.

2. Select a curve to trim by clicking the left mouse button.

3. If viewpoint change is required, click the right mouse button and select Pause on the popup menu.

After the new viewpoint is set, deselect Pause to continue the trimming operation.

4. Pick a position where the selected curve is be trimmed by clicking the left mouse button.

Result

• The selected curve is divided into two curves and the new curve is registered to the project tree and the current layer of layer window.

Note  

• Curve >> Trim >> Pick Point can be applied to a curve residing on the inactivated shells.
