Curve >> Tool >> Rebuild command rebuilds a curve with reassigned number of control points.
Curve >> Tool >> Rebuild can be effectively used to minimize the gap between a curve and a polygon model as well as to easy the modification of the curve.
Step
- Execute Curve >> Tool >> Rebuild command as follows:
- 1. Select Curve >> Tool >> Rebuild from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Curve toolbar.
- Then the shape of mouse pointer changes to

- 2. Select a curve or many to be rebuilt by dragging mouse with the left mouse button holding down. To unselect the selected curves, drag mouse while holding down the left mouse button and the CTRL key.
- 3. Click Done on the right mouse shortcut menu.

- 4. The following popup menu appears.

- When "Use existing point numbers" option is checked, selected curves are rebuild using their own interpolation points.
Project to Polygon option, selected by default, rebuilds selected curves while projects them to polygon.
If you type in tolerance value, new curves are changed within the tolerance and No. of Sampling Points is ignored.
- 5. Click OK to complete this operation.
