Curve >> Tool >> Match
Curve >> Tool >> Match command matches two curves so that their end points are coincident or tangent to each other.
Step
- Execute Curve >> Tool >> Match command as follows:
- 1. Select Curve >> Tool >> Match from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Curve toolbar.
- 2. Select two curves to match by left-click.
- 3. A dialog box appears for matching options.

- Curve >> Tool >> Match is executed if the distance between two curves is smaller than Matching Tolerance.
- Select Position in Continuity field to match two curves with positional continuity guaranteed.
- Select Tangency(G1) in Continuity field to match two curves with tangential continuity guaranteed.
- Ignore Tangency(C1) in Continuity field, which is for surface matching.
- 4. Click OK to complete this operation.
Result
In the matching process, the curve picked first moves to the curve picked later.
In case that the distance between two selected curves is larger than Matching Tolerance, Curve >> Tool >> Match is not executed and "Command canceled" is displayed in the commend console
