Curve >> Tool >> Find Abnormal Curves
Curve >> Tool >> Find Abnormal Curves command inspects curve network’s conditions because degenerate curves or small curves in curve modeling are hard to find. So, useless abnormal curves can be deleted by this inspection tool. This function finds abnormal curves automatically, and delete them by Curve > Delete command.
Step
- Execute Curve >> Tool >> Find Abnormal Curves command as follows:
- 1. Select Curve >> Tool >> Find Abnormal Curves from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Curve toolbar.
- 2. Select the curves and Click Done on the RMB.
- 3. The following dialog box will be shown.
- Degenerate Curves are hard to find because they are too small to delete. However, it can be selected by mouse drag so it is interrupted to make loop or generate surface. Degenerate length is assigned for value to define degenerate curve. This value is expressed as Internal Measure Unit. Closed Curves are usually generated form curve intersection’s error. It should be deleted not to have interruption for later work. Isolated curves exist independently not related to around curves, and relates to around curves by curve intersection. Very small isolated curves like degenerate one can be deleted by this function
- 4. Select the option you need and Click OK.
