Curve >> Tool >> Extend

• Curve >> Tool >> Extend command extend a curve along its direction.

Step    

Execute Curve >> Tool >> Extend command as follows:

1. Select Curve >> Tool >> Extend from the menu or click the corresponding  icon from the Curve toolbar.

2. Select a curve to extend by clicking the left mouse button.

3. Input appropriate parameter into the following Extend Curve Option Dialog box.

4. Click OK to complete this operation.

A user can choose extending amount between the ratio of its length (Input Parameter(%)) and the Input Distance.

When Extend on Polygon option is checked, the curve extends by the use of polygon information.

A user can chose the extension continuity constraint in Extension Continuity field.

Result

• Curve >> Tool >> Extend command extends the selected curve according to the options.

Note  

• Press ESC key or icon to erase the displayed curvature.
