Curve >> Create >> Draw On Ref.Plane >> Circle

• Curve >> Create >> Draw On Ref.Plane >> Circle command creates circular curves on selected Ref.Plane.

Step   

Execute Curve >> Create >> Draw On Ref.Plane >> Circle command as follows:

1. Select Curve >> Create >> Draw On Ref.Plane >> Circle from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Curve toolbar. View point will be aligned with normal of  selected Ref.Plane automatically.

2. Click right mouse button, the following popup menu appears.



Pause, the default option, is used to temporarily stop the current command.( input ready state )

3. Select Draw Circle on the popup menu.

4. Left mouse button click to pick the center point and drag mouse to draw a circle while holding down left mouse button.

     

5. The radius of circle can be modified by Input Size menu. Input radius in R and click Done to execute command. or Click Cancel to dismiss dialogue



6. After drawing circle, click right mouse button again, then select Done on the popup menu.

Result

• Blue lines are created on the Ref.Plane. The new curves are registered to the Curve node of project tree window and the current layer of layer window.

• Equidistant interpolation points between the starting point and the end point are automatically generated.

• An arrow sign is displayed for each curve, which represents the direction of curve. The arrow sign can be hidden or shown with Curve  >> Options >> Show Direction command.

Note  

• Curve >> Create >> Draw On Ref.Plane >> Circle can be executed when only Ref.Plane is exist.

• When Draw Circle is selected on the popup menu, Pause is automatically deselected. Thus, once a user starts drawing the curves, he / she cannot move or rotate the model. Consequently, a model should be properly positioned before this operation.

• If a user wants to cancel this operation, press ESC key or icon.
