Curve >> Create >> Draw On Ref.Plane >> Polyline

• Curve >> Create >> Draw On Ref.Plane >> Polyline command continuously creates connected lines on the Ref.Plane.

Step

Execute Curve >> Create >> Draw On Ref.Plane >> Polyline command as follows:

1. Select Curve >> Create >> Draw On Ref.Plane >> Polyline from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Curve toolbar. All the shells except the active one go into hide state.

2. On RMB menu, Select Start to draw interpolate curve. you can pick point of Ref.Plane only.



    Picked points can be moved by dragging them with the left mouse button after selecting Move Point on RMB menu.

    Pause, the default option of the popup menu, is used to temporarily stop the current command.( input ready state )



3. Polyline can be created through continuously picking the next points.

4. After picking all the points, click right mouse button again, then select End.

Result

• Blue lines are created on the Ref.Plane. The new curves are registered to the Curve node of project tree window and the current layer of layer window.

• Equidistant Interpolation points between the starting point and the end point are automatically generated.

• An arrow sign is displayed for each curve, which represents the direction of curve. The arrow sign can be hidden or shown with Curve  >> Options >> Show Direction command.

Note  

• Curve >> Create >> Draw On Ref.Plane >> Polyline can be executed when only Ref.Plane is exist.

• When Start is selected on the popup menu, Pause is automatically deselected. Thus, once a user starts drawing the curves, he / she cannot move or rotate the model. Consequently, a model should be properly positioned before this operation.

• If a user wants to cancel this operation, press ESC key or icon.
