Curve >> Create >> Interpolate

 

Step   

Execute Curve >> Create >> Interpolate command as follows:
1. Select Curve >> Create >> Interpolate from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Curve toolbar. All the shells except the active one go into hidden state.
2. Press the right mouse button, then the following popup menu appears.

Pause, the default option of the popup menu, is used to temporarily stop the current command.( input ready state )

Point : Any point on polygon face

Vertex : Scanned point

Ref.Point : User made Ref.Point 

Point On Surface : any point on NURBS surface

Point On Curve : any point on NURBS Curve

3. Select Start on the popup menu.
4. Select interpolation points either on a polygon mesh or point cloud while holding down left mouse button. ( See Selecting point ) A red interpolated curve appears, which passes through the selected interpolation points.
5. The interpolated curve can be defined by continuously picking the next interpolation points.
6. While a user draws the curves, he / she can change the position of interpolation points by selecting Move Point on the popup menu.
7. After picking all the points, right click mouse to pop up the shortcut menu and select End.
    
Select Generate Intermediate Points to make additional equidistant interpolation points between the selected points.
Select Leave As It Is to create curve only with the selected points.
