Curve >> Analyze >> Curvature Plot

• Curve >> Analyze >> Curvature Plot command displays the curvature of selected curve.

• Curvature is (1/curvature radius). It represents the smoothness of curve.

Step   

Execute Curve >> Analyze >> Curvature Plot command as follows:

1. Select Curve >> Analyze >> Curvature Plot from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Curve toolbar.

2. Select a curve to check its smoothness by dragging the left mouse button.

Result

• The curvature is represented with a line having both direction and magnitude.

• In case of line, the curvature plot is not displayed because the curvature is zero.

• The curvature can be modified with Curve >> Tool >> Smooth command

Note  

• In case the curvature is zero, nothing is displayed on the screen.
