Clean >> Find Abnormal Faces
Step
- Execute Clean >> Find Abnormal Faces command as follows:
- 1. Select Clean >> Find Abnormal Faces from the menu or click the icon from the Clean toolbar.
- 2. Select all the shells you want to check by dragging mouse with left button pressed.
- 3. Click right mouse button, the following Popup menu appears. If you want check all the shells, select All.

- 4. The following dialog box appears.

- Check Non-manifold faces, Redundant Faces, Crossing faces and Unstable faces options.
- 5. Press OK button to complete the command. The search result appears on the lower left side of the screen as follows.

- If any, abnormal faces are selected and displayed in the workspace window with corresponding legend color.
Note
Users can examine abnormal faces with virtual
trackball until they select another menu, presses ESC key,
or clicks
icon to return to
input ready
state.
When searching crossing faces, intersection test between vertex adjacent faces are performed. Thus, all the crossing faces may not found out.
