Clean >> Delete Singularities
Clean >> Delete Singularities command deletes several kinds of unnecessary data in a single operation.
Unnecessary data is configured in the dialog box.
Step
- Execute Clean >> Delete Singularities command as follows:
- 1. Select Clean >> Delete Singularities from the menu or click the icon from the Clean toolbar.
- 2. The following dialog box appears.

- Check Vertices with no face option to delete isolated vertices which do not belong to a face.
- Check Coincident Vertices option to delete coincident vertices.
- Check Folded Faces option to delete folded faces.
- Check Faces on boundary option, and then select number 2 or 3 from Number of boundary edges to delete faces that have more than 2 or 3 boundary edges.
- Check Small clusters option and type in the number of faces at Number of faces in cluster field to delete clusters( a set of connected faces ) that have less than the specified number of faces. ( See Face cluster )
- Check Zero area faces option and type in the area of face at Zero area is smaller than field to delete faces with areas smaller than the specified value.
- Check Blank group option to delete groups without a face.
- Check Blank shell option to delete shells without a vertex.
- 3. Press OK button to complete the command.
