Build >> Smooth Points

• Build >> Smooth Points command smoothes point clouds for reducing roughness.

• Build >> Smooth Points command removes noise from scanned data without reducing the count of points.

Step   

Execute Build >> Smooth Points command as follows:

1. Select Build >> Smooth Points from the menu or click the corresponding icon from the Build toolbar.

2. Select a shell to be smoothened. ( See Shell selection )

3. The following dialog box appears.

Weight is the factor of smoothing intensity ranging from 0.0 to 1.0.

Iteration Numbers is the count of smoothing iteration.

4. Press OK button to complete this command.

Note  

• This menu is disabled if there is no faceless shell.
