RFEdgeUse.GetLeftPoint

Description

Retrives the coordinates of the corner vertex of the left face.

Syntax

Function RFEdgeUse.GetLeftPoint(bHandleDegeneratedCase As Boolean, pPoint As RFPoint3) As RFErrorCode

The GetLeftPoint syntax has these parts:

Part	Description
bHandleDegeneratedCase	[IN] Boolean Required. Boolean value indicating if the exceptional case handling will be performed or not.
pPoint	[OUT] RFPoint3 Required. Coordinates of the corner vertex of the left face.

Settings

The bHandleDegeneratedCase has these settings:

Value	Description
TRUE	Coordinates of the left vertex will always be retrieved regardless of the degeneracy of the left face.
FALSE	In case that the left face is degenerated, that is more than two vertices are located at the same position, coordinates of the left vertex will not be retrieved.

Remarks

In case that edge-use is not manifold, that is, there are more than two faces sharing this edge-use, retrieved result will not have a valid value. Use RFEdgeUse.IsManifold method to check if the edge-use is manifold or not.
