Edit > Select > Bounded Components selects all polygons inside all boundaries (as previously created by Polygons > Section by Plane or other methods) that have at least one polygon that is already selected.
Select at least one polygon inside at least one boundary, click Edit > Select > Bounded Components, and the remainder of polygons within the bounded area(s) are automatically selected.
