Edit > Scale Model reduces or enlarges the active object by a numerical factor. This is an adjustment to the data, not just a change of perspective.
This function is available for point, polygon, and CAD objects. If the object has datums or is a CAD object, the Non-uniform option does not exist.
The parameters are:
Scale About radio buttons -
Centroid - scales equally in all directions from the centroid of the model.
Origin - scales equally in all directions from the origin of the world coordinate system.
Non-uniform checkbox - (not available ) specifies that scaling is performed in the following specified direction or directions:
Direction values (applicable when Non-uniform is checked) -
X - a scaling factor on the X axis (default 1 means no scaling)
Y - a scaling factor on the Y axis (default 1 means no scaling)
Z - a scaling factor on the Z axis (default 1 means no scaling)
Click Apply to preview the changes, OK to accept the new scale, or Cancel to exit the dialog.
