Wrap > Shoot Through drills a narrow hole through the model.
In Fine Tune mode, Shoot Through removes only polygons that are intersected by the original selection area.
In non-Fine Tune mode (called Coarse Mode?), Shoot Through removes structures based on point density.
For example, if you have a wrapped cylinder and you want to remove the polygons that close the two ends and span the internal area, the Coarse Shoot Through operation can accomplish this because the walls of the cylinder contain a higher point density and stop the propagation from deleting the walls. If the Fine Shoot Through operation is performed, however, only polygons intersected by the selection area are removed and those that were not intersected by the selection area remain.
To Shoot Through a model, click Wrap > Shoot Through and then select the region where the shooting should begin.
