Registration is the process of aligning two or more scans that represent different portions of the same physical object. While the registration commands are typically used in Point Phase, they are also available to align polygon objects.
If one of several scans is already considered to be in the correct position in space, prepare for registration by pinning it. Right-click its name in the Model Manager, then left-click Pin in the pop-up menu. This action declares that the scan shall remain fixed and others shall move in space to become aligned with it.
