Baud Rate dropdown (300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, default 9600, 19200, and 38400) - specifies the bit rate on the configured COM port.
Com Port dropdown (COM1, COM2, COM3, or COM4) - specifies the physical serial port on the PC to which the device is connected.
Units dropdown (Inches or Millimeters) - specifies the units of measure in which point data is reported.

Enable checkbox - specifies whether input from the Spaceball is accepted by the Geomagic application.
Single Axis Filter checkbox - decouples the six axes,allowing access to one axis at a time. For instance, you can rotate the model about the X-axis, but not while it is sliding along the Y-axis.
Enable Rotation checkbox - rotates a model about the axes
Enable Translation checkbox -
Reverse Rotation checkbox - causes rotation to be in the opposite direction as normal.
Reverse Translation checkbox - causes translation to be in the opposite direction as normal
Sensitivity wheel - controls the relative speed of the on-screen pointer with respect to movement of the ball.
Recalibrate button - performs a calibration of the spaceball.
