Load Transform

Tools > Transform > Load Transform

The controls are:

• Matrix section - displays available transformation matrices.

• Decomposed section - lists the divergencies between the original model and the selected transformation.

•   Translation section - lists the spatial divergencies between the original model and the selected transformation.

•   Rotation section - lists the rotational divergencies between the original model and the selected transformation.

• File Name field - displays name of selected transform.

•   Load Matrix button - loads the named transform.

• OK button - performs operation and closes dialog.

• Cancel button - closes dialog without loading the transform.

• Reset button - undoes transformation and leaves dialog open.

To apply a saved transform matrix:

1. Click Tools > Load Transform.

2. Click Load Matrix.

3. Find the file and click Open. The transformation matrix is automatically applied. If desired, click Reset to return to the original orientation.

4. Click OK to adopt the current position, or click Cancel to exit the opera­tion without making any changes.

To apply a transform matrix automatically:

1. Click Tools > Options > Advance > File I/O.

2. Check the Check for transformation file (*.tfm) box. If a model and a transformation file with the same name but different extensions is found in a directory when a model is opened, the transformation will be auto­matically applied.

3. Click OK.
