Tools > Transform > Edit Transform
The controls are:
Anchor section - sets X, Y, and Z coordinates of the anchor point. The World axes value for these is 0.
Translation section - sets the desired motion of the model away from the current position in all three axes.
Rotation section - sets the desired rotation of the model away from the current position in all three axes.
Show Bounding Box checkbox - shows the boundaries of the selected item.
OK button - performs operation and closes dialog.
Cancel button - closes dialog and discards changes made.
To edit the current transform matrix:
Click Tools > Edit Transform. A dialog appears.
In the Anchor section, enter the coordinates of the points that the rotation will be made with respect to. If you are reorienting a model with respect to the World axes, leave these values at 0.
Enter the amount of translation in the Translation X, Y, and Z value boxes.
Enter the amount of rotation in degrees in the Rotation [about] X Axis, Y Axis, and Z Axis value boxes.
At any time, check the Show Bounding Box box. For more information, see Displaying a Model For Navigation.
Click OK to reorient the model, or Cancel to exit the operation without making any changes.
